How it works

  1. Rinse and dry your teeth before using.

  2. Remove the cap and twist the bottom of the pen until the gel flows to the brush.

  3. Apply the gel evenly to the surface of your teeth.

  4. Wait for 10 minutes for preventative whitening to work before eating or drinking.

  5. The gel will dissipate naturally—no need to rinse after application.

  6. Repeat steps whenever you need to prevent teeth stains.

BrightByte™ Stain Prevention is formulated with 6% carbamide (urea) peroxide and works to prevent tooth staining to maintain a bright smile. The BrightByte™ Pro pens contain 18% carbamide (urea) peroxide and are used to whiten teeth.

Using the pens 10 minutes before eating or drinking will help to prevent the appearance of surface-level stains. These are stains commonly caused by foods and drinks like coffee, tea, and wine.

Nope! The gel will naturally dissipate after 10 minutes on your teeth, but avoid swallowing a large quantity of gel. Contact a Poison Control Center right away if a large quantity of gel is swallowed.

No. BrightByte™ Stain Prevention is not suitable for use on veneers, ceramic teeth, or other dental restorations.

No. These pens are not suitable for tetracycline-stained teeth, decayed teeth, teeth with defective enamel, teeth with exposed dentin, damaged teeth, or tooth discoloration caused by lesions or other medication.

Do not apply the gel directly on your gums or the inside of your lips, as this may create discomfort or irritation. Rinse with warm water to remove gel from gums or lips if this occurs.

There is a low level of whitening ingredients in this gel. Treatment is gentle and should not cause tooth sensitivity. If irritation (such as redness, swelling, or soreness) of the gums or the teeth occurs, discontinue use and consult a dentist.
